Brownwood Downtown Plan

The City of Brownwood is updating the Downtown Master Plan. This work will be happening throughout 2023 and into early 2024. Please use this website to stay up to date on the progress, proposals and ways to get involved!

Public feedback on the plan closed on March 15th in preparations for consideration at City Council, but you can still read the draft plan under "Documents". 

Project Purpose

Updating and expanding on the vision and successes of the prior Downtown Master Plan from 2002/2003, this plan will put specific focus on the public investments that the City can or should undertake to support a vibrant future for Downtown Brownwood.

Draft Plan Release
